- Taking into account what was previously mentioned in the presentation of this CU, whose scope of study of students is the context of pre-school and 1st CEB, we consider the following objectives: - To characteship.rize the language competences necessary for the (initial) learning of 'school' literacy. - To distinguish and analyse models and methodologies for the initiation of reading and writing. - To describe the main processes involved in reading. - To characterise the main processes involved in the production of written language and to underpin the learning of orthography at the interface between the writing process and orality. - Address the processes of explicitness of linguistic knowledge. - Relate the role of language competences for the performance of an active citizen

- Considering that the Didactics of Languages aims to contribute to comprehensive and transversal educational proposals to the curriculum of languages, oriented to the (intercultural) dialogue and given that this curricular unit is part of the training component in specific didactics of the study plan of the Degree in Basic Education, it is intended to carry out the characterization of the verbal dimensions that structure the activities of teaching and learning of the Portuguese language at this level of education, objectively with a public vocation for teaching in kindergarten and primary school, without neglecting its intercultural perspective.

- The discipline is part of the general level of training in information systems and has as main objectives to provide students with a set of general and specific concepts that allow them to understand and master the types, characteristics and role of Information Systems throughout society and in particular in companies, recognize the technologies used, as well as Management and Planning of Business Information Systems and represent and model business processes and requirements. This knowledge is reinforced by the approach and analysis of several practical cases of study and complementary research work using UML as well as the use of a process modeling tool. An information systems initiation curricular unit focuses on the study of concepts and reference themes in the area, such as Planning and Management of Information Systems (PSI) and (GSI), Architectures and Modeling using UML and BPM. - This UC aims to create real-time and live scenarios of light using digital media. Students learn to: Mastering digital machines and software, namely exploring Photoshop and learning to use Tagtool; Create virtual scenarios with the help of projection devices, taking into account their limitations; Articulating group and network (co-authorship and collective manipulation); Combining layers: backgrounds (visual textures, color planes, “neutral images”), intermediate and foreground in real context and in groups. Know the projection surfaces, their definition of the layers considering the projection distance, the destination format (relief and surface texture). They understand the creative experience of live scenography in the technical, artistic and aesthetic domain: from creation (on a computer screen) to the effective (projected) realization, a transformative and immersive expansion takes place.

A classificação final (CF) da unidade curricular por avaliação contínua é obtida a partir das classificações obtidas na componente teórica (T). A avaliação consta da realização de duas frequências. A classificação mínima em cada parâmetro de avaliação é de 9,5 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 T. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.

- In this curricular unit, an introduction to surgical pathology will be made and the relationship with surgical procedures established. Special emphasis will be placed on general, thoracic, orthopedic and urological surgery that incorporate instruments, equipment and supplies necessary for the safe care of the client. In the field of medical pathology, respiratory, cardiovascular, gastric, renal, endocrine and oncological pathology will be addressed.
