- In this curricular unit, the Team-based learning (TBL) methodology is used, with tasks carried out in small groups, allowing the development of the ability to analyze and apply theoretical concepts.
- Mandatory
- Transmit a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the structure of the human nervous system Provide a comprehensive perspective of the nervous system function, with a particular focus on topics relevant to clinical neurosciences. Provide students with the nomenclature of the central nervous system. Understand and realize the interconnection and relationship of the nervous system with other body systems.
- General Setup and organization of the central nervous system and ontogenesis. Neurobiology of neuron and glia. Nerve fibers, peripheral nerves, endings and effector receptors, dermatomes, myotomes, sclerotomes and muscle activity. The spinal cord and ascending and descending tracts. Brainstem. Cerebellum and their connections. Brain. Structure and functional location of the cerebral cortex. Reticular formation and limbic system. Basal ganglia and their connections. Nuclei of cranial nerves, their plants and distribution connections. Thalamus and their connections. Autonomic nervous system. Cerebral meninges or spinal cord. Ventricular system, cerebrospinal fluid and the blood-brain and blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier. Blood vessels of the brain and spinal cord.

A componente escrita consta de duas frequências escritas e é relativa aos conteúdos teóricos. A classificação mínima em cada frequência é de 8 valores. A componente prática consta duas frequências realizadas durante as aulas. A classificação mínima em cada frequência prática é de 8 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 PL. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas em cada componente tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores, para efeitos de cálculo da classificação final.

- The curricular unit leads students to study brain function from the cellular and synaptic level to the functional and system level. It addresses contents of cellular neuroscience and synaptic essences for the study of different aspects of sensory systems, besides processing and higher order brain dysfunction. Teaching is structured around the development of knowledge of brain function, from the cellular level to functional systems and approaches.

O objetivo de usar vocabulário específico é reforçado por gamificação e ferramentas digitais, que promovem a prática repetida e interativa do léxico. O objetivo de resolver situações profissionais é alcançado através da aprendizagem baseada em tarefas (TBL), onde os estudantes executam atividades reais como reservas ou reclamações. O objetivo de compreender aspetos culturais é apoiado pelo uso de materiais autênticos, como vídeos e conteúdos reais de países hispanofalantes. O objetivo de produzir textos profissionais é desenvolvido através do trabalho colaborativo e tarefas práticas, como a criação de emails e descrições em grupo.

- A unidade curricular aborda o desenvolvimento das competências de comunicação oral e escrita em língua espanhola, com enfoque nos setores do turismo e da hotelaria. Os conteúdos incluem atendimento ao cliente, reservas hoteleiras, agências de viagens, transportes, restauração, atrações turísticas, prestação de informações e orientações, correspondência profissional e comunicação intercultural. Os estudantes reforçam ainda os conhecimentos de gramática, vocabulário, compreensão oral e escrita, expressão oral e escrita, através de atividades práticas relacionadas com situações reais do setor do turismo.
- El objetivo de comunicarse en situaciones turísticas se desarrolla directamente en los contenidos de comunicación en hoteles, aeropuertos y agencias, donde el estudiante practica interacciones reales. El objetivo de usar vocabulario específico se apoya en el contenido de turismo y hostelería, que proporciona el léxico necesario para esas situaciones. El objetivo de resolver situaciones profesionales se corresponde con los contenidos de reservas, check-in y reclamaciones, que reproducen escenarios reales del sector. El objetivo de comprender la cultura hispanohablante se trabaja a través del contenido de cultura básica de países hispanohablantes, que aporta contexto intercultural. El objetivo de redactar textos profesionales se desarrolla en el contenido de escritura de emails y descripciones, aplicado a situaciones laborales reales.
