- Classes will be theoretical-practical, with the development and application of the 4 areas of linguistic competence: oral and written comprehension, oral and written production. Theoretical classes focusing on grammatical content. Practical classes that include grammar exercises, vocabulary acquisition exercises, reading and interpreting texts, role play exercises, individual and group work. Digital tools like Quizlet and others will be used.

- The main skills to be acquired are: The ability to communicate in writing and orally fluently, clearly and appropriately in English in a professional context. The ability to participate in meetings, make presentations and speak on the phone, in a clear and well-structured manner, using vocabulary and linguistic strategies appropriate to the situations and problems faced. The ability to prepare, analyse and discuss written documents.
- Objectives of this course unit: * Develop oral and written skills in the area of Technology; * Review and systematize previously acquired linguistic content; * Share information about everyday life; * Produce written communications in the field of commercial and technical relations in the area of the course; * Expand and apply vocabulary related to information technologies; * Develop ability to read and interpret technical manuals in the course area.

- To provide students with general knowledge and understanding of the law applicable to the context of business and commercial activity, supplying them with tools that allow them to understand the main legal aspects associated with commercial activity, as well as to understand the rules applicable to areas relevant to the management of companies or any economic activities.
- 1. Concept of commercial law: scope and sources 2. Concept, object and scope of tax law: constitutional principles, the legal-tax relationship, taxpayers and obligations. 3. Concept of commercial acts and qualification 4. Commercial contracts by nature: generalities, purchase and sale, representation, distribution, insurance, banking and financial contracts. 5. The company and the commercial establishment 6. Subjects of commercial law: the individual establishment with limited liability (EIRL); commercial companies. 7. The structure of the tax system; the classification of income taxes (IRS, IRC) and consumption taxes (VAT). 8. VAT: incidence, exemptions, intra-community transactions 9. The taxation of companies.

- Intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences to be developed by the students): - To know and understand the fundamental principles of conventional radiology and medical imaging. - To know and to understand the relation between the different positions in conventional radiology and the respective radiographic projections of the bones and articulations of the human skeleton and of some systems and organs. - To know the medical image quality criteria for the different structures studied in conventional radiology. - To know the criteria of gauging and validating the images for medical diagnosis. - To acquire skills in the identification of the normal imaging anatomy of the most important organs and systems of the different anatomical regions (axial and appendicular skeleton, thorax and abdomen). - To acquire skills in the observation of changes associated with the imaging diagnosis of the main diseases. - Acquire tools for critical reading of images and writing reports.

- The Imaging Anatomy curricular unit is essential for professionals in the areas of medical imaging and radiotherapy. Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy professionals identify, in the two-dimensional image obtained using an X-radiation beam, all the parts of the human skeleton, the systems contained in the rib cage and abdominal cavity. The students of this UC will be the future responsible for carrying out medical imaging exams for diagnosis or therapy, which is why it is essential to acquire careful knowledge regarding the criteria for measuring image quality, accepted and validated in Radiology. Practical classes taking place in the laboratory allow the student to establish the relationship between positioning, the image obtained and the images provided by the teacher for study and sedimentation of knowledge.

In practical classes, the student has prior access to the activities that will be carried out in each class session, which allows for prior reading and preparation. - Continue to address the physiological principles of treatment, through diagnosis in osteopathy and the osteopathic techniques; To acquire a broad knowledge base to be used in various fields of diagnosis and treatment in osteopathy, and then apply to units of the ongoing and future clinical practice; Being able to select and apply the most appropriate myofascial technique the resolution and / or depletion of dysfunction in the upper limb and spine; To recognize the effectiveness of myofascial techniques in intervention in diseases and musculoskeletal disorders, neurological, visceral and emotional; Being able to select and apply techniques muscle energy.

A classificação final (CF) da unidade curricular por avaliação contínua é obtida a partir das classificações adquiridas na componente escrita (T) e na componente prática (PL). A componente Teórica consta de duas frequências escritas e é relativa aos conteúdos teóricos. A classificação mínima em cada frequência é de 9,5 valores. A componente prática consta de dois momentos de avaliação práticos realizados durante as aulas laboratoriais. A classificação mínima de cada momento é de 9,5 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 PL. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.

- Myofascial techniques II are varied techniques that apply with certain pressure in various parts of the body, with the function of helping in the treatment of dysfunctions, relaxation and stretching in order to release the skeletal muscle system. This UC is intended for the continuation of teaching both theoretically and/or practically of manual techniques for the intervention of myofascial therapy, in clinical context, while allowing new knowledge to deepen for the different manual techniques, in order to make their intervention more effective and adapted to the various circumstances and situations.
