- The curricular unit can be completed by continuous assessment or by final exam. The final classification of the subject through continuous assessment is obtained from the classifications obtained in the theoretical component (50%) and in the practical component (50%). The theoretical component consists of two written frequencies (minimum classification in each frequency of 8,0 values). The practical component consists of two moments of practical assessment (25% each), with a minimum rating of 8,0 points each. The minimum final classification for each component (T and PL) and for the CU is 9.5 points.

- It is intended that students acquire knowledge in Imaging in Nuclear Medicine (NM), which will allow them to skillfully perform the technical procedures for performing MN exams. Provide students with knowledge in methodological terms and techniques for performing MN exams, allowing them to identify clinical indications, objectives, patient preparation, radiopharmaceuticals used and respective biodistribution, image acquisition and processing conditions and technical evaluation, in Scope of conventional NM exams: - osteoarticular system - nephro-urology - Pneumology - Gastroenterology.

- The CU presents the student with all aspects of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performance in a clinical context. The main exams performed in conventional Nuclear Medicine are addressed, from the approach to the patient, collection of clinical information, definition of the best protocol applicable to the patient, the type and activity of radiopharmaceuticals used, their normal biodistribution, scintigraphic findings and artifacts, as well as such as technical analysis and exam processing.

- In this curricular unit, the Team-based learning (TBL) methodology is used, with tasks carried out in small groups, allowing the development of the ability to analyze and apply theoretical concepts. In practical classes, the student has prior access to the activities that will be carried out in each class session, which allows for prior reading and preparation. Class session plans are accompanied by a set of questions, to ensure individual preparation, and later discussion of procedures and results.

- To know the general principles of osteopathic manipulative techniques. Acquire knowledge to be used in various fields of diagnosis and osteop athic treatment to be applied in other courses and clinical practice. Develop and implem ent the START concept applied to the upper limb, thorax and dorsal spine. Understand the key variables that characterize each of the manipulative techniques. Identify, interpret, describe and treat disorders resulting from the perversion of the r elationship between structure and function. Apply harmo nic, joint techniques and positional techniques for pain relief. Recognize that Spencer techniques are used to improve joint mobility and myofascial shoulder.

- As osteopathy is an essentially manipulative clinical practice (use of manual techniques and practices to recover body structure and / or optimize internal functions), this UC aims to provide these fundamental therapeutic tools. It also intends to develop the interpretation skills of homeostasis imbalances using the analysis and observation of the various dimensions of body structure in order to establish a differential diagnosis.

- The expositive method will be used in theoretical classes with collective participation in the (re)construction of concepts and in the analysis of varied information. In practical classes, the development of reflections, presentation and discussion before the collective, of synthesis works with practical cases. - The teaching-learning process in this course unit adopts a theoretical-practical approach. Practical examples will be utilized to demonstrate concepts and techniques in each of the covered areas: advertising, signage, and scientific drawing. Moreover, there will be a focus on hands-on exposure and training with specific software for bitmap and vector drawing. The practical component will be further amplified through the development of individual or group projects. These projects will enable students to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in practical contexts, encompassing different facets of visual communication. To complement this approach, individual research and the development of creative processes will be encouraged, allowing students to apply methodologies of artistic research and develop a strong dimension of authorship in their works. At the end of each class, a collective critical analysis of the developed works will be conducted.
