• The Master's program in Occupational Safety and Health Management aims to enhance the education and qualification of Senior Executives in the field of Occupational Safety, particularly Senior Occupational Safety Technicians and Occupational Safety and Health Management System Managers. The goal is to ensure the implementation and development of preventive and protective services against professional risks in the workplace, within a framework that promotes improved working conditions and economic alternatives, adjusted to technological and social changes.

The training of an Occupational Safety Technician or Manager should be characterized by a solid foundation in Occupational Safety and Health, which underpins the ability to design solutions, manage, plan, execute, and oversee actions to promote safety and prevent professional risks, as well as interact with other specialties and professionals arising from the role of coordinating workplace safety and health and preparing integrated occupational safety and health projects.

  • The general objective of the Master's program in Occupational Safety and Health Management is to provide an advanced educational program and qualification for Senior Occupational Safety Technicians and Occupational Safety and Health Management System Managers, in accordance with the parameters defined by labor legislation and Professional Certification in the area, as outlined by the professional statute for Occupational Safety activities (Law No. 42/2012).

The international and national legal framework defines that safety and health activities in the workplace, whether carried out by internal or external resources, must necessarily be led by properly qualified professionals. This professional qualification and the corresponding professional certification mechanisms are provided for in the aforementioned legislation, and the Master's in Occupational Safety and Health Management allows access to this qualification as a Senior Occupational Safety Technician.

This certification is a requirement for professional practice in the field, as well as one of the determining factors for the effective implementation of occupational safety and health practices and principles, as defined by the legal framework. The Master's program also has a strong management component, particularly for the development or improvement of leadership, implementation, or evaluation of Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems within productive organizations, promoting individual value both in technical and scientific terms, as well as in personal training and interpersonal relationships within work organizations. Additionally, the program aims to instill a professional attitude that motivates continuous improvement of work processes and the implementation of best practices that contribute to higher safety levels and a culture of prevention within organizations.

The Master's program in Occupational Safety and Health Management aims to enhance the education and qualification of Senior Executives in the field of Occupational Safety, particularly Senior Occupational Safety Technicians and Occupational Safety and Health Management System Managers.

The general objective of the Master's program in Occupational Safety and Health Management is to provide an advanced educational program and qualification for Senior Occupational Safety Technicians and Occupational Safety and Health Management System Managers, in accordance with the parameters defined by labor legislation and Professional Certification in the area, as outlined by the professional statute for Occupational Safety activities (Law No.
