At the end of the UC students should know the hospitality industry's accommodation management (AM) characteristics and specificities. Know the main tasks in the AM, specifically, front office, back office, room division, and laundry. Know the SNC and USALI systems components in the AM, namely, philosophy, structure, and arrangement. Discuss the strategic process in the AM. Design/project a business plan related to the AM.
Mandatory
The methodologies are used for expository presentation of theoretical frameworks. Participatory methodologies to analyze and solve exercises, case studies, handouts, and reading. While active methodologies for conducting individual and group.The continuous assessment will be achieved through one intermediate test with a weighting of 40%, a visit report with a weighting of 20%, a working group with a weighting of 30%, and 10% for class participation. Students who do not obtain approval or have not been subjected to continuous assessment are subject to final assessment achieved by conducting a written examination (100%).
