This course follows the course of Criminal Procedural Law I, in which students acquired the basic knowledge about the procedural subjects, the general principles related to the process, a basic notion of the procedural structure and the ways of closing each of the phases It is now appropriate that, at the end of the teaching of the curricular unit, the student must know the general rules regarding the procedure, the main practicable acts in the process, competence for their practice, time for their practice, modes of notification the nullitis they may suffer

The student must have an in-depth knowledge of the material relating to the evidence, the measures of coercion and patrimonial guarantee and the respective regime. It should also be capable of a critical approach to criminal legislative solutions, either in terms of legislative changes or by the critical application of established norms, using the principles that inform the criminal and constitutional process. Finally, they must have a deep understanding of the guiding principles called for in criminal proceedings and recognize in them a fundamental guaranteeing function for the citizen, including the accused, the offended and the community in general.

Methods used:
Expository method of theoretical knowledge. Practical application through solving hypotheses Interrogative method to verify the acquisition of knowledge by students and to verify the ability to anticipate solutions based on the knowledge already acquired; Demonstrative method through contact with real processes and jurisprudence and, whenever possible, following a court hearing.
Assessment:
The assessment has two components: a written component and an oral component, the first with a score of 60% and the second with a score of 40%. The written assessment is based on two written tests, with a weighting of 30% each. The oral evaluation focuses on participation in the class, whether voluntary or at the request of the teacher, with a weighting of 40%
