  • Complementing the course " Research Methods I: Observational Methods¿ (first year), in this CU students should be able to: LO1: Deepen the knowledge of experimental research in Psychology, including the study of experimental research designs. LO2: Know the main data collection methodologies in experimental research, with particular emphasis on tasks using computer applications. LO3: Aqcuire skills related to methodological issues associated with experimental research are intended to be acquired in the context of the design and development of research projects and their implementation,  LO4 : Think critically about experimental research, namely on collecting, analysing and interpreting experimental data.

  • Theoretical-practical classes are based on the use of expositive and interrogative teaching methods, for presenting the topics and fostering students' participation, respectively. In order to consolidate the knowledge, the topic presentation is based on several examples of studies in the field of clinical and health Psychology. In laboratory practice, the active method is preferred, which is focused on problem-solving using a collaborative approach.
