Exercise Physiology is an area of Physiology dedicated to the study of the functions of the human body, namely the study of how the human body adapts when subjected to the stimulus represented by physical exercise. To this extent, this curricular unit focuses on specific acute and chronic adaptations resulting from the practice of physical exercise, according to the variables that may characterize it. Accordingly, this curriculum unit is truly pertinent and, therefore, preceding other curriculum units such as the theory and methodology of training.
