  • The purpose of Sports Pedagogy is to take a pedagogical approach to sport, taken as an element of culture, in the general process of educating and training human beings. It helps professionals to identify the skills required in the world of sport that can be transferred to other environments, creating opportunities to use these skills in different contexts, providing them with support and encouragement to do so.Therefore, the Curricular Unit (CU) of Sports Pedagogy is extremely important in the Sports Science Degree, whether from the perspective of acquiring knowledge and skills related to future teachers in the area of Physical Education or Sports, being the basis for teaching in any area.
